Families of autistic patients
are mainly faced with five kinds of dilemmas: difficult rehabilitation treatment, huge care pressure, heavy economic burden, negative emotional distress and insufficient social support. We need to take relevant measures to solve these five kinds of dilemmas: for example; we need to build a multi-social support system for families of autistic patients, whichis dominated by government support, involving communities, caring enterprises, special schools, medical institutions, families, neighbourhoods, voluntary services and social work institutions. Provide resources for families of autistic patients in many aspects, establish a good social support network, help autistic patients overcome difficulties, resist difficulties, and help build confidence.Competing Interests: None declared.
