After an initial period of gaining experience in the method of collecting mucus, this was found to be a simple cheap method of demonstating an allergic component in the genesis of rhinitis. This test could be employed for detecting the relationship of allergic factors to chronic respiratory tract disease in childhood and in adults. ER -
