%0 Journal Article %A Christine McGuire %T The role of evaluation and examinations in Colleges of General Practice %D 1974 %J The Journal of the Royal College of General Practitioners %P 766-777 %V 24 %N 148 %X The process of evaluation described represents a more rational approach to the development of examinations that will yield more reliable and valid information on many aspects of the competence of individuals and on the effectiveness of programmes. It will also clarify all levels of professional education in developing and maintaining competence.
