AB  - A learning system for continuing education for general practitioners is described and illustrated by examples from educational programmes held in Doncaster. The work that needs to be done by organizers in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational programmes is outlined. I hope that this will help other organizers of continuing education.
