AB  - Some sources of stress in the doctor's family are described and a number of solutions are offered. Problems which are common to all doctors' families are identified and others which relate to specific groups. Solutions are classified according to those which require self-help and those which are offered from outside. The practical possibility of groups for trainee wives is suggested as a means of prevention rather than cure.
