Over a quarter of the injuries were the result of skiing accidents. The distribution of injuries and the outcome are described. More than half the casualties were dealt with entirely by the practice. The practice continues to provide an accident service, and the recording system set up for the survey provides details of injuries and treatment for subsequent inquiries.
