  • CRP = C-reactive protein. OR = odds ratio. PE = physical examination. PH = patient history. Multicollinearity: there was multicollinearity between ‘sore throat’ and ‘signs of throat infection’. Therefore, the variable concerning physical examination (‘signs of throat infection’) was dropped.
